In 2000, after witnessing thousands of textile job move overseas. After working in the manufacturing industry Phyllis Smith founded I AM the Ultimate in 2019 with a vision to maintain our domestic manufacturing economy and celebrate the value of sewing. Today, we are proud to provide living-wage-certified work and training in Houston Texas.
